Merit Hospice is a privately owned and operated company. Establishing personal connection is the basis for what we do, it’s how we know what’s in the best interest of the person nearing the end of life. It also serves as a model for what we expect from all our staff, intimate relationships with those we serve. After all, we’re with you during one of the most difficult experiences in life. We help you understand what to expect and prepare for the journey.

During hospice, we are the patient’s advocate. With a focus on comfort rather than treatment, we ensure patient and family wishes are honored.

Care is what we do. We not only provide care for patients and families, we actively care for every member of our staff and our volunteers. The end of life is an emotional time, filled with both highs and lows. Our care focus is physical, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being, for patients and staff.
